About
Friends of the Lewis County Public Library is a nonprofit 501(c)3 group who provide support for the Lewis County Public Library and Archives. Focused on community development through library development, our members are involved in fund-raising activities, advocacy, volunteerism, public awareness campaigns, and literacy programs.
Awards
- National Friends of Libraries Week Award (2022) / United for Libraries, a division of the American Library Association
Meetings
Meetings are held on the fourth Monday of the month at 4:30 p.m. inside the historic Hohenwald Depot. Meetings are open to the public.
Book Sales
Book sales are held on the last Saturday of the month from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Friends Booktique located in the historic Hohenwald Depot.

Membership
Join the Friends of the Library and help support them and the library. There are two options to join Friends of the Library:

Pick up a paper membership form at the library and archives or at the Friends’ Booktique. Completed applications can be returned to the library and archives in person or through the U.S. Mail.
