Lewis County Public Library and Archives offers technology devices that may be checked out by patrons for use at home.
Mobile Hotspot Checkout
Mobile hotspots allow residents to connect to the internet at home through a cellular signal. Cardholders who are 18 or older and have a card in good standing for at least 6 months are eligible to borrow a mobile hotspot. Hotspots can be checked out for 7 days and must be returned to the library circulation desk.
Chromebook Checkout
Cardholders who are age 18 or older and have a card in good standing for at least 6 months are eligible to borrow a Chromebook for use at home or work. Chromebooks can be checked out for 7 days and must be returned to the library circulation desk.
Projector Lending
A digital projector is now part of the library and archives’ technology lending service. Cardholders who are 18 or older and have a card in good standing for at least 6 months may borrow the projector on a first-come-first-serve basis. The loan period for the projector is 7 days. The projector must be returned to the library circulation desk.
